Town of Coyle Projects

We have several projects going on in and around our Town right now.  

The first one is the continued construction of Highway 33.  You have probably noticed that they are currently working on the intersection at Main St and Highway 33 as of Tuesday May 26th.  Be sure to pay close attention to the signs up and drive through there carefully as they continue the construction in our area.

Next up in a fire hydrant replacement project.  This project will give us the opportunity to replace all of the fire hydrants located throughout the Town.  We are able to do this project on a grant that we received.  This project is set to begin on May 28th.  The crew will begin over by the school and work their way throughout the Town.  As they are working, there will be times that water will need to be turned off.  Alerts will go out to try to keep everyone informed as to where they are working and what areas could be without water.  We are excited to be able to get these hydrants switched out.  

Finally, another project that is upcoming will be a refurbishment and repainting of our water tower.  This project will start in the next few weeks.  The tower will be drained and the inside sandblasted to clean it up; then both the inside and outside will be repainted.  More information on a specific start date for this project and any other additional information will be shared when received.  

Proposed Coyle Municipal Code

The Board of Trustees is in the processing of updating our Town of Coyle Municipal Codes and are looking for your input.  You will find the proposed Coyle Municipal Code here to review.  There is also a form for you to be able to submit questions or comments on the code here.  You can also submit any questions or concerns to Town Hall directly.  There will be a meeting scheduled soon to have a discussion on updating this code.  We are looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this proposed code book.
